Great Idea, Almost Perfect on the ExecutionMay 21, 2007

I love comic books!! I love to read them, I'm not a guy who reads them with tongs in a pressure controlled chamber, I just love to read them in what-ever condition they are, because it's the story that matters. I have always wanted to increase my comic collection, but being in the military and moving all the time puts a wet blanket on that idea. When I saw these digital comics I just about flipped. This is a great idea for people like me. Now I have the entire collection(almost) in one small package. It's great, they scanned the original comic, including the original advertisements(some of which are down right hilarious now). Man, it brings back a lot of good memories. I read comics to escape reality, they were my "Fortress of Solitude". The only qualm I have is, it does get a little tedious scrolling and clicking to get through the ".pdf" format.

Comics have an attractive line art quality. The relationships of styles found between writers and artist only make it better. This Hulk DVD is a collection spanning many comic book issues in PDF format separated by decades then by years. This DVD is a collection of scanned original hard copy comic books. The more recent comic books from about the 1990s onward are strait from digitized sources. The older issues have scanning artifacts that make it hard to see details in the art. The newer art is crisp. Therefore, the older comics may be fuzzier yet they provide a glimpse into the past. There is value in the old comics. You get the history of the Hulk. What I appreciate is the marriage of writing and drawing producing a work of art that finds a good home in this comic book collection. So get ready to explore many types of anxieties and lots of uncontrolled rage. So when Bruce Banner loses his cool and says, "Hulk smash!" You will not be disappointed if you decide to buy this product.

hulk 1-6, tales to astonish 60-101, hulk 102-474, hulk v3 1-99 plus annuals is what is included. Starting with TTA 70 they started featuring sm and hulk in the stories so that's nice this is pretty much complete and a great set for any marvel fan that has a little bit of spare cash in their pocket.

Ok look I am not a Hulk fan much but if you grew up in the 70s&80s you know who the Hulk is! This DVD-Rom is really cool it covers over 43 years of comic books. With over 535 complete books from 1962 through 2006 an annuals. If you have adobe reader the comics will read just fine the down fall is the price tag on this baby. Its going sky high I found it for 150$ compared to the 1,000 dollar price tag on it now. I got the same price for the Captain America DVD-Rom they were new. So I finely gave in and got it just for the hell of it because of the X-Men,Avengers,Spider-Man, Captain America & Iron man DVD-ROMs where so cool!!!!
