Being a member of the Nigerian diaspora, I bought this software hoping to get a refresher on Igbo. It was too low level, plus it was very awkward to wathc caucasions mouth the words; but to hear an african actually say the words.

If you're looking to learn a few words quick, it should do the trick. For anything more, maybe take a class, or get an advanced book.

3I na asu Igbo?Jan 06, 2006

I bought this C.D. hoping it would help me learn Igbo...since my own Parents did not teach me....

This C.D. however, is quite limited in what it teaches you, and after using it for one weekend, I had already learned the words I did not know.

I recommend this only for those hoping to learn very basic words and pronounciation. For the more advanced Igbo learners, I suggest looking elsewhere.

2Doesn't workJan 09, 2007

I bought this to learn Igbo along with my son, but I couldn't get it to work right. It had some glitches in the program and was a waste of time and money. I wanted a voice recording of how to sound out the words and vowel sounds. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Nobody to contact rearding the issue. I don't think I will order from outside my country again. I will stick to reading the book instead.
