I have wanted this watch for awhile and bought it Jan 2011. After only three months (just past the limit to return to Amazon) the stem/bezel popped off. This was fairly unreal given the cost of the watch. But what has made it worse, is that I am unable to use the regular Tag Warranty because I bought it from Amazon....and Amazon only covers mechanical problems. I tried to explain that because the glass is exposed..... mechanical problems could ensue. After speaking to three different departments within Amazon (warranties, customer service and consultation with a manager) I am awaiting the answer from final department (jewelry and watches). I will post the answer so that others may know their options before purchasing a Tag from Amazon.
As an Update:
After more than 6 phone calls, 9 emails etc. I have found out that Amazon will DO NOTHING TO DEAL WITH THE WATCH. I saved for this watch a long time, and after three months it is broken. If I do wear it I risk getting water or dirt into it. I took it a repair shop this morning and was told Amazon sells overseas-watches that are of lesser quality. The repair shop says it sees many Amazon watches in for repair. So you can make an informed choice....Note: I saved 250 dollars buying my watch from Amazon. My watch repair will take 3-6 weeks and will cost 250 dollars. This is only the first repair for this watch and it is exactly what it would have cost to have the real warranty, rather than the "useless warranty" from Amazon. I have always been a diehard Amazon person, this event has changed the way I view the quality of their items and has diminished any respect I have for their customer service and policies.

This watch is beautiful and classy. The time is easy to read, and it makes an outstanding impression when worn with casual or dressy clothes. It is the one watch that I can wear with everything and I have received compliments on it. It's everything that I wanted a watch to be.

I bought this watch as a present for my wife. Honestly, there's really nothing all that special about the way. Your truthfully buying a 200 dollar watch for 1000 on Amazon. Amazon shipped it fast and it arrived in excellent condition. The watch has a very simple to produce quartz movement. The reason I bought this is me and my wife have been looking for a watch for her that she could wear every day that should hold up.
Time will tell on how well it holds up... but it does look like and the fit and finish is excellent.
She does complain that the bracelet tends to pull the fine hairs on her arms. So that is a negative.
Overall, for a grand... it's not all that. I really has no complications other than time and date. The mother of pearl is beautiful... but this watch isn't worth a grand.
You are paying for a name. You are paying to say you have something. You are paying to make a company that doesn't stand behind watches sold by Amazon. So that pretty much sucks!

I have had this watch for eight months and it is fantastic. I get compliments on it and it keeps impeccable time. I would definitely buy it again.

Nice watch but less than 3 months after we purchased it thru Amazon the stem fell off and since it's not an internal problem it is not covered under their 2 year warranty.
