I've owned about eight or so Rolexes since I first bought an oyster ten years ago. They're all gone now, except for this latest acquisition. I think this is the last one I'll ever get. I paid about $12k for it here in Manila three months ago and I have to say, I haven't stopped looking at it ever since. It is both sporty and dressy and can be worn everyday.
Rolex isn't really big on design like Bvlgari or Cartier, but this one is exquisite. From its flawless movement on the inside to its highly distinctive look on the outside, a lot of people will agree that this is truly a thing of beauty. It is instantly recognizable around the world.
One guy said on another review here that every man should own at least one Rolex in his lifetime. I have to also add that the choice of that one Rolex should be a Daytona, two-tone or otherwise. The quality, prestige and history of the brand, and not to mention the admiring looks from both men and women alike is something that I can live with.
Don't think twice about a Daytona -- you'll feel like a million bucks wearing it!!! :-)
