I am a bit of a leather snob, but even I really like this wallet. The quality is equivalent to that certain leather store found in most shopping malls where I have bought my last few purses and wallets.
I bought it to use mostly as a check book cover and for the overflow of all those customer club cards that keep multiplying in my wallet, and that is good, because there is really no place to put cash. The zippered pocket is too small to fit bills unless you fold them into quarter size and not a lot of room for coins, either. It works great for what I want to use it for, but it wouldn't be very handy as your only wallet.

I got this wallet as a gift. It advertiuses that it's "quality genuine leather," but I can't imagine what animal this leather came from. It feels weirdly papery and thin. The checkbook holder is too narrow to actually hold a standard-size checkbook. The picture holder requires you to shave 1/2 inch off your favorite wallet photos for them to fit. And, although I was able to put my credit cards in the slots, I need pliers to get them back out.
I suppose the wallet may stretch...maybe. But the most awkward partis that when I filled it with the standard stuff one puts in a wallet, I realized there is no place to put paper money. There's a zippered area, presumably for change, but nowhere for dollars. As a final indignity, the wallet wouldn't zip closed around my very standard amount of items. D'oh! I'm going back to my previous wallet, broken zipper or no.
So...you get what you pay for. Two thumbs down are not enough thumbs.

I like my new wallet. It holds what I need to carry as well as my check book. The quality is good.
