Use Language Subtitles on DVD 's InsteadNov 05, 2010
By no name I thought this would be more interactive. All it is is a talking comic book with English to Other Language translation. Many DVD's provide other language/subtitle choices, and the dialogue would probably more helpful!

Should have guessed...Jan 12, 2011
By carola proctor I purchased this for my 8 year old son who speaks a little German. I wanted him to strenghten his German foundation in order to be able to communicate with family in Europe. I figured this program would be a fun way to increase his interest. Well, the German audio sounds as if the people reading the parts had never heard German spoken before. Their accents are very heavy and they mispronounce some of the words. A fun diversion for sure, but not a way to actually learn German!
