I ordered this necklace in anticipation of the 2010 ALA Banned Books Week. It arrived yesterday and I wore it to a book event today. It was much complimented, but one friend so admired it, I had to give it to her.
Just enjoying it today made it worth the price. Having something that would give such happiness to a friend was worth even more. I got two gifts for the price of one in this oh so funky piece of junk jewelry.
Equally good news? Yes. There is one left in stock. Banned Books Week, here I come.

I wish all of the titles on the adult and children's versions had been listed so you would know exactly what was coming. I did not care for the "dog tag" like chain it is on so I swaped it out with somethig else. Ordered more for gifts.

I LOVE the look of this necklace! I'm a Literature teacher, so it's right up my alley. Unfortunately, the chain that it comes on is very short, so I'm going to have to find an extender just to wear it. Also, I wish you could select from a few options to make sure that you get books that you've actually read. Other than that stuff, I'm very pleased with this necklace.
