Decent French keyboard for Internationalization testingFeb 07, 2011

I bought this French keyboard for my work, as we need to test our localized software on various international keyboards, and our French translators also need it to type their French accents and other diacriticals in a more natural way than using ALT codes or an international Dvorák layout. So, overall it does the job. It's a no-frill keyboard and the feel of the keys is ok, but not great. It was detected without issue by Windows and was easy to setup. I event got an email after purchase telling me how to switch input locales on various versions of Windows, which could be very useful for a non-expert.

A french AZERTY keyboard is not easy to find in USA .
The one i got there was exactly the model i was looking for , and made me able to use my laptop with brokendown keyboard until my way back to France .
Fast delivery and great support from AramediA .

Student of Arabeeya "Al Ajnabi" (The Shenandoah) is NOT aware of the facts. AramediA and its website have been providing Arabic products long before the fad. High quality services have been given to buyers and non-buyers alike, over the years.
That Student of Arabic "The Foreigner (Al Ajnabi)" is foreign to the facts. there is no such beast as a USB Keyboard for $20.00! AramediA's shipping Rate starts at $7.99 and that's FedEx 2Day service NOT Ground, not UPS, not Postal Service Mail... It is FedEx, Federal Express: High Quality Service, a class act at a low price. Do you know how many keyboards they can ship to you for $30.00? Where did you concoct such a $30.00 figure for shipping of one keyboard?
How dare you compare Apples with Oranges? Please get your facts right before you mislead others. Such a review is not fair nor honorable. Thank you.

This company is a joke, capitalizing on the new interest in learning Arabic and the subsequent need for a keyboard to type that language out. First off, they reduce the price of the keyboard on Amazon to just over $22. But then they charge $30!!! for shipping. Please, give me a break. Plus they sell the "USB" version of same keyboard during this period for $60 more!! Now they've increased the old $22 keyboard up to $100!!! Unbelievable.
The only other real drama is that they are the supplier for so many places you'll find online. Their name is Aramedia. You'll go to another supplier but then default back to an Aramedia page where you'll find sell their keyboard at all sorts of different prices. While now on Amazon it is $100, it was $22. But on their site it was $65! Do yourself a favor. Arabic keyboards aren't magic. Click to the second or third page of web search for Arabic keyboards. You'll find a few honest dealers out there. We ended up with our keyboard for $19 with $8 for shipping from a company in Arizona. I found a few other companies near the same price. Stay away from Aramedia and their scheming ways.
