Very usefulNov 09, 2011

I bought this for my grandchildren who are growing up in the UK and know very little Tagalog.
The older girl, now 13, who was born in the Philippines but has forgotten most of the Tagalog she used to know, is finding it particularly helpful.
Both girls enjoy using the CD and their Tagalog speaking mother vouches for the accuracy of the language used on it.

I bought this item in 2008 but I lost it =(.. but I'd suggest this to any person trying to learn Tagalog! This really helped me. I bought this before I went to the Philippines and it is kind of simple but it taught me a lot and when I went to the Philippines that year it really helped jump start me and I was able to talk to my family there and understand a couple of words! Computer programs have helped me a lot and I hope you get this to get you to understand THE BASICS. This won't give you any SUPER substance of Filipino words but it will HELP YOU learn the baby words and more!
I would get this for anyone whose just looking for a start/ conversation words to use with your Filipino friends/family. It was worth it but don't expect to use intermediate words, expect to understand things like "spoon" "water" and etc.
