3Great material, but why stop here?Oct 03, 2008

I LOVED this idea. Collect all of the comics I'd never have the nickels to rub together onto a digital format for future viewing and reading. HOWEVER - this covers only the last 20 years. Even if that's the only portion you're really interested in - for just a few bucks more, you could have The Amazing Spider-Man: the Complete Collection which collects all of the comics from Lee to the present.

By the way - don't make the stupid mistake I made. The original CD collection plus this does not a complete set make. You miss out on the first 19 annual issues. If you're going to read them, you're going to want to be complete (unfortunately)...

Now, I'm trying to complete my (nearly) complete set again - ugh. Why do I not read these reviews?

5Love the comic on CD thing. More please!!!Jul 12, 2007

I love having all of the older comics online.

It is difficult to try and find storylines through the years with all of the older paper books. I have over 30 boxes of comics and it's almost impossible to keep track of these, not to mention expensive.

With these, I am archiving all of them to my server. That way, whenever I'm online, I can read a few issues. If I want to print them out, that's good too.

I would much rather have these online instead of books. More please! I would like to see more collections of titles (What If?, Dr. Strange, Defenders, etc). I already own all of the titles that have come out on CD.

I would even sign up for subscriptions if I could get them all on CD.

5Great collection in an easy to access dvdNov 12, 2007
By Omar Salem "Music Axis"
This was a great idea to put all these comic books on one dvd. Now I don't have to dig through my old comic book collection to find an issue. Its all neatly organized by date and issue number. I highly recomend it. It includes my favorite stories from the late 1980's - early 1990's when Todd McFarlane (creator of Spawn) was drawing Spider-Man. If you have not seen his work on Spider-Man, getting this dvd just for those issues is worth it. In my book, he was and still is the best Spider-Man Artist that ever worked on any Spider-Man title.

1Do not buy- each page of comic has a huge water-mark on itJan 05, 2009

DVD Rom comics are great, but this collection has a giant 'MARVEL' watermark superimposed over every page! Ruins the entire experience. Avoid this one.

4Amazing Product!Apr 26, 2011

Good quality and large collection for the price. Downside is that there is a marvel watermark in the middle of every page if you use a comic viewer on an iPad - a minor annoyance that CAN be ignored, but is annoying nonetheless. If you read the comics in Adobe Reader, there is no watermark.
